The Essentials For Tonight's Game
The top-seeded Hawks meet fourth-seeded Binghamton tonight in a game that will tip off at 7:30 p.m. at the Events Center on the Binghamton campus. An expanded pre-game show will begin at 7 p.m. on WWUH Radio (91.3 FM, wwuh.org). Both of the semifinal games will be televised live on the New England Sports Network (NESN) beginning at 5 p.m.
Those not in the New England region can access the telecast at America East's Web site (www.americaeast.com) at no charge. However, the sign up can take time and you do need certain hardware and software installed on your computer for everything to work properly. So, if you are planning to view the game on the Internet, and have not signed up for America East streaming feeds, I advise you to sign up ahead of time and make sure you have an account and that your computer does meet the necessary requirements.

The "noisy" Hawks have landed in Binghamton! The Pep Band and the Cheerleaders made it up to the "northern country" and are preparing for their ride to the arena. As I write this, faces are being painted and last minute additions to flip folders are being tended to. The Pep Band members who performed at last night's concert were able to catch a portion of the live feed on americaeast.com. It was quite the unique experience...a group of people in traditional concert black clothing chanting "let's go Hartford" and reaching for the sky during foul shots. No matter...once a Hawk, always a Hawk. See you at the arena!
I must say that having the band at all the games this year made a huge difference to the atmosphere at these events. They did a great job and their spirit was fun to watch. They were great at the men's tournament.
Here's hoping that the cheerleaders & band along with the traveling fans can be the impetus to get us over the humps tonight, towards another hard fought victory!
