NCAA Chronicles 6: Game Day

Well, the time has arrived. The bus pulls out from the Westin hotel at 10 a.m. We should arrive at Sovereign Bank Arena about 10:30 a.m. Breakfast was at 8 a.m. and the team seems in good spirits. Holden (Coach Rizzotti's son) entertained all of us as usual. He loves the spotlight. But even he realizes that the center of attention moves to a group of confident and talented young women in just a few hours. To the Hawks, good luck. Be sure to tune in at 11:30 a.m. on WWUH (91.3 FM, wwuh.org).

Well, Jon, it is always great listening you and Jesse's broadcasts of the Hawks games. I live in NJ and I can always catch a game on the Internet. Congrats HAWKS. I enjoyed watching you the ladies play at the SBA today. And I think it is GREAT Jen has her family there. AND it was really nice to see Jen hold her son (Holden) with about less than four minutes to game time. It was a heartwarming sight. I have always been impressed with how Jen carries herself. BEST OF LUCK. I wish I could be there Tuesday night, but I have to work that night. Oh, by the way, Coach Sullivan, I am enjoying your book.

I was at the game....and it was one of the most gratifying win I have ever experienced as a Hartford Alum. I am amazed and grateful to see what these women have and will accomplish in the future. They are turning into the Gonzaga of the East.

GREAT JOB and now lets focus on Georgia!!

Lady Hawks, what a wonderful win. We are all so proud of you. Awesome playing. Looking forward to Tuesday's game and another win. Everyone on the buses from Hartford had a great time. We all cheered as we got off the Asylum Ave exit and saw the American East Championship sign.... Jeff

Fantastic game!!! What a blast that was. The Rizzotti era is just beginning!

I must say that the school spirit that was displayed at the Arena was the best I've ever experienced as a Hartford alum, and I graduated over 20 years ago. I must also say that this was the best band performance that I have ever seen by Hartford.

Congrat's on the win girl's....now enjoy it a little and then get ready for Georgia!
